I have a 1998 yamaha blaster and i'm wanting to make run better and faster. Any idea on what i should get.

if its stock, get a good pipe, reeds, filter, and a nice port job and your all set

I had a blaster before i got my 400..Heres what i had done....motor wise anyway. FMF pipe and silencer. PWK carb, reeds, new piston, bored .40 over, k & n, couple other odds and ends. But i would piss all over most blasters that i came across. But i outgrew the quad real fast.

actually when i got a blaster, the first thing i did was Axle and tires. But after that id definitly do a pipe. Then from there do small things like handlebars, fendors, filter, remove the lid.

well ya heard works shocks are good so is a pipe oil blockoff kit degree key new filter new tires and rims is a must!

Start with an oil block off kit and premix it. Then get a good pipe, K&N, reed cage, timing, get it ported by a good shop, and shave the head. I think thats about all my buddy has done to his blaster and it ran right with my 250r when I just had a pipe and carb. Not bad for a 200.
