Okay trail riders, I am in a bind. I sat back all winter and didn't buy tires. Now I gotta get them by the weekend How many of you run 22" in the back and how many are on 20" tires I dont give a rip what tire you got just the size. I already know what brand and tread I want, just havin trouble pickin the size.

that is true, they will give ya more ground clearance, but I like my 20's I feel there a little better for slidding around corners if you ride on some nasty trails a good skid is a must[PRM] works great!!!

The tire size i would say depends on what tire you are getting. Because if you get a 22inch blackwater its going to be taller then 22inches. I run 20 blackwaters and couldnt be more happy. There probobly right around 21inches all give or take

I love bottem end, so I got 20's, my preferance

Thanks fellers I ordered 20" razrs on wheels today from chapperal Pretty good deal I think. 20X11-9 6ply on ITP .190's for 217 shipped 2nd day air. Best local deal I found was $235 plus the governers 8.8% tax and would have had to wait a week to get them

In defense of C&D, I did request a qoute, and they were the low bidder, but the tires would not have been mounted on the wheels. And at the time I placed the order, they had not had a chance to respond to my request. ( probably due to Bens bad April fools joke):grr
My next purchase WILL be from C&D

Hmmm, hope you like them O.K. in all the mud up there in the northwest. I was going to suggest the XCT holeshots. I am running the orig razrs now and they don't like mud- does sound like you got a good deal though....

I live in the northwest, the majority of the places I ride are rocky/loamy with a lot of roots. I looked at the XCT at Cycle Gear, and thought they felt too soft for our terrain.

I said northwest

Loamy? I have been to Oregon before on vacation and it was m-u-d-d-y.

Tire's and rims are expensive... just buy a new quad

Yea there are muddy places, but I have learned where they are and try to avoid riding there. I gave up mud when I gave up the Polaris 4X4. If its toooo muddy, I just head back to the truck. Life is to short to spend it cleanin off the mud.

I hear ya, but in the good old heartland here if you don't ride in the mud apparently you don't get to ride this time of year.

Posted by: Woodsrider

LOL here if it gets too muddy, we go play in the desert Or go the beach and play in the sand.

why did you buy new rims?

still going on that poker run this weekend?

Posted by: Woodsrider

Yep still goin'. I wanted new rims for a set of paddles. I am going to put the razrs on the stock wheels and then put a set of paddles on the .190's, but first I got to finish thrashin the stock tires. I got about 45% tread left on the stock tires. That is fine for playin in the yard but not for serious ridin

Put a little brake fluid and some bleach in a spray bottle and spray the tires with it talk about smoke

i run 20's on my sport quads.

Posted by: Woodsrider

I had no problems with the 20's on the poker run Sunday. That was some of the nastiest slickest clay/mud I have ever seen. I saw four different quads wreck, and countless bikes wreck. I had no problems where I saw holeshots getting stuck.(I think alot had to do with the riders) No problems getting them to clean out either, just blip the throttle and they threw mud all over the place.

I agree, I like 20s the best, like he said though u do need a good skid plate get a PRM def. But I really like the feel of 20s too.:devil

I also run 20s. My razrs don't have a problem with mud, but then again we go around deep mud we know we would have a problem with.
