yes you can but make sure to clear coat it because its stainless and it will rust...ive heard its alittle harder than other things...give it a try

last i checked stainless steel doesnt rust, but i polished one and yes it is harder to do than auminum, and its so thin that it gets hot prety fast, but i tihnk the one i did for ddfeters turned out great

yes, grab bars will rust..if there stock, but just one more question, how did you get the grab bar and heat sheild mixed up

for some reason i thought they were made of the same material...i just had a mind blank.. i didnt actually mix them up i just thought they were the same steel.i dont have a 400ex heatsheild so i wouldnt really know..i just read it on here alot
