Does anyone know if you can polish a biggun head pipe along with the silencer, if so any negative thing to happen, like will it get hotter or anything....?

YOu'll be wasting your time... Yes it can be done,,no it won't make it hotter,,but you'll spend hours and hours polishing it..only for it to turn back to ugly within a few rides. Get it coated like the one in the pic and it will always shine...

Mud and grit also wipe right off of it with no effort...

Yea have it coated. It cuts down on the heat and looks cool also.

get it coated, if you polish it, it will turn the ugly brown color within a few rides like mine did, i spent 30 minutes just trying to make it look nice, not polish just make it look the normal color again..it worked but not after about 4 rides..its a complete waste, im going to have mine coated sometime, im not sure when though

I do that I wish I had some pics of the headers that I have ceramic coated. They almost look like chrome once you go over them with 0000 steel wool and than polish them with some compound. I'll try to get a pic of one of my sample parts that I have on here tomorrow. I like the ceramic coating better than the High temp Powder coating that I recently did. But that is just my personal opinion.

Ok, I got a pic, It's not very good. I took it when I came home from work on my lunch brake at @ 2am. The bar on the right is what it looked like before any media blasting and coating. The bar in the middle has been ceramic coated and the square plate is a sample of the silver hi temp powder coating. it is actualy a lot beter than what the pic shows but it has nothing on the ceramic coating.

The big gun headpipes and silencer come with a ceramic coating. I just polish mine with mother's aluminum polish and it makes it shine like chrome. i'll post some pics when i get home today
