Help with QuadTech Carbon Fiber Hood

I really like the way that the 250R's look with the carbon fiber hoods. Quad Tech sells a hood for a 400ex, but what front plastic do I need for it to work? Do you just cut the headlights out, or do I need to buy the Maier race cut plastic? Or, do I need 250R front plastic? Anyone done this yet?

it will work with stock or maier plastics. yes...cut off the headlights and attach the hood. run a search on hood installation and youll get a ton of ideas

Maybe you should ditch that 400 and just buy the whole 250r if that is what you are looking for.

I heard the 250r comes with the hood you like.

Carlj75 - I guess you didn't know what my major plan is. I am saving them, I am trying to hold out until they start to appreciate.

heres a pic of my 400 w/ the new quad tech 400 hood scoops, u just take the lights out, then cut the raised part of the plastic were the lights used* to be, and your set.... hope ya like my pic.
