Who makes the best swingarm and how its the retail/
I know its been asked before, but couldn't remember the results of it.

Posted by: Dave400ex

Don't know if it's the best, but you wouldn't go wrong with a Walsh.

Posted by: RiPPiNiTuP7

Laegers or RPM, both are around $550 (estimate only)

Posted by: Quadfather

$540

Posted by: QuadTrix6

i like houser products, but i hear rpm is the best

Posted by: 400exRacerX

Laeger's $577 shipped

Posted by: Ralph

lonestar and i got it in the 315.99-500 range

Posted by: trx400ex

BEST roll design and walsh but they are expensive, a herrmann is only like 500 and i think they are built pretty good

Posted by: AFTERMARKET

Get a Laeger's
You get what you pay for!

Gibson makes a great swingarm, i have it on my R, it takes a beating.

Posted by: rob-u/21

I would get a swingarm that is completly closed and used 4 bolts were the bearing goes like a roll design or a tbr. Ive been told that they tend to crack were they are open like the leager and lonestar.http://www.rolldesign.com/Templates/swingarms.asp

Jannssen Racing makes an awesome swingarm. Retail for 550, but Joel may work with ya on a price. i havent had any problems with mine. Plus it looks Trick, and Differant!

That Walsh stuff is just amazing...

Posted by: Quadfather

I agree. I saw one on ebay that had been broken, and welded, five times. That's amazing.

Posted by: Sick0

Hey EX80, how much did you pay for the walsh. I was looking at the gibson. I'm thinking you seen it before, what did you think.

Posted by: EX 80

I paid like $750 for the walsh. I have looked at the gibsons a few times. I think they are very stong and will last. I think the gibson one is a bit heavier than mine. I got lucky on my walsh, they had one in stock. K and K should have the gibsons in stock.

new style lonestar swingarm for 300 is good enough for me, and if i crack it, i doubt it, ill get a new one, cause he promised me if it cracks i get a new one and then i could sell it for 500 and end up qith 200$

Posted by: Paul400ex2002

hehehehe having lonestar chit ain't bad when they're made like 30 minutes from your house :devil

Posted by: Bean

personally, id rather spend an extra 200$ on something that probably wont break in half on a 60ft double, but whatever floats your ship

Posted by: nick23

JB-RACING

Posted by: HSD400EX

ILL DEFINITLY SAY WALSH ALL THE WAY..TAKES ALONG TIME TO GET ..BUT WHAT CHA GONNA DO...GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR AND THERE BETTER THAN ROLL DESIGN I THINK..OR IF YOU WANT A LITTLE CHEAPER..EYEBALL ENGINEERING MAKES A GOOD SWINGARM

Posted by: Sparks425Ex

Laeger and Houser are the only way to go in my Book....

I wouldn't mind a Walsh but I will never own anything Roll Design.

Posted by: HSD400EX

sparks..you get what you pay for...isnt that true...ill never own a lonestar swingarm...never never never..but i still think walsh is number one..hard to get hard to find one used..that says it for itself..number one

Well my opinion is walsh is one of the best but i have seen walsh swingers break and crack, ive never even heard of a broken roll swingarm but im sure it happens

Posted by: NTPRacing#19

ive seen how walsh mkes there stuff and i swear their stuff is the tuffest product out there! everything of walshracecraft is "diesel"-nate... walsh number one

eldon

Posted by: Paul400ex2002

um august (onefast440) runs lonestar chit and i guarantee he rides better than any of you, and harder to boot.

Posted by: trx400ex

UMM your point? That doesnt make lonestar stuff any better.......

Posted by: Paul400ex2002

yea well when you say it breaks in half and all that chit... and august is a freestyler too... and runs almost all lonestar.

Posted by: trx400ex

Sometimes i think people who suck are harder on parts, think about it. Casing doubles on the mx track....in the woods clipping trees flipping down hills....just because its held up for him doesnt mean its invincible. And most of us on here have seen more than our share of broken lsr swingarm pics.

Posted by: Big - D Racing

How do you know (onefast440) August never breaks his lonestar swing arms? Because he's sponsored by them he probably bring 2 extra swing arms to every event. I bet he's broke quite a few. Toughest swing arms are Roll, Walsh, and Gibson. I would like to test a Herrmann they look pretty nice also, but have no experience with them verify how they handle.
