how are the atv mx classes setup at your local races? are they broken up in A,B,C,D? atv 4stroke and 2 stroke? ours just changed this year to the following >0-50 Stock 4-8, 0-70 6-11, 71-90 9-15, Schoolboy 14-15 (200 2 stroke/300 4 stroke), Women, Open amateur, Open pro. so ,i just started racing last year ,where do i fit in it looks like open amateur? this is district 13 by the way.... we also started practicing and racing on sat . after the dirtbike practice .ever feel like quad's are treated like red head step kids.!

The series i race has these classes

ATV Sportsmen (80cc-350cc) This will include Blasters, Warriors, 250 & 300 EX, Polaris and other ATVs not designed specifically for competition. Must have tether kill switch, Nerf Bars, and visible numbers. No 400 EX, Raptors, Cannondales, Bombadiers, or Suzuki 400s allowed in this class. Considered an amateur class..

ATV Amateur For two stroke racing quads over 230cc. This class is also open to machines running in ATV Sportsman and ATV 4 stroke.

ATV 4 Stroke For all 4 stroke ATVs. Considered an amateur class. Sportsman can ride this as a second class.

ATV Novice beginners class

Atv PRO

And several youth classes
