I told my parents I wouldn't go riding off of the farm today :devil and i rode a few towns over on the icy roads
. But my dad got pissed cause I got back real late, so I can't ride for a month now:grr ... But being that my quad has some "ghettoness" to it right now, I thing I will fix all of those problems. What other things should I do while doing this to maintain everything? Besides like the basic changing the oil, cleaning airfilter, etc. Thanks Alot

Lube everything you can: a-arm bushings, shock connections - front and rear, swingarm pivot bolt, axle, and steering stem. Do a once-over on all the bolts to make sure they're tight. Lube your throttle and clutch cables.

Take a look at the valves, and wire brush and paint some of the rust that may be on it.
