well for christmas as some of you know i got a set of dg nerfs. well after riding with them on for about 2 months, the mounting hardwhere began to rust

so what im wanting to know is what should i do about the hardwhere? any tips to keet it from rusting??

the old dg alloys that two of my friends rusted tho, nothin you can really do to stop it except for what i listed above

brush the rust off them and put on a few coats of good ol spray paint.

yeah, wire brush them and paint them. I used clear coat.

you can also spray on some wd-40, sense it repels water
but clean off the rust first

my dg's are in good shape they do there job and they have not broken yet.they are not that hard to mount up. and i belive they are not junk. i am wondering if most of the people that say dg is junk have even owened stuff from dg.

How about this nerf bars skid plates and bumper junk!!!! If you notice skid plates are plural meaning 2. Nothing from them has held up and they don't stand behind there stuff either. Sell it then forget about it. That's no way to keep customers coming back.:grr

clearcoat. i have never owned anythin DG besides my swinger skid (baja) and personally. i think its crap. its all bent up and mr rotor is about 2 mm from chewin on my skid. goddam thing... im goin proarmor

put them in some industrial bolt cleaner stuff and then clearcoat them put like 20 coats of clearcoat that should do the trick

In my opinion dg and ac are both crap (ac is much better than dg though). Dg stuff always breaks on me. And ac stuff lasts but the bolt Holes are always the wrong size and dont line up for me.

For bumpers and skids like PRM. For nerf bars i like graydons and gibsons.
