wow 6 hours....whats the process you used to make it tale 6 hours

Posted by: speedy400

about 4 hours it taking off the paint w/ sand paper, I'm too lazy to get stripper. and then 80 grit, 120 grit,220 grit, 1000 grit dry, 1000grit wet sand, then #000 steel wool, then the polish. I take my time. nothing else to do, my 1st polish took 13 hours(throttle cover it still dosnt looks the best )-darren

I started polishin mine with some compounds but my dad said it was steel so he got it sandblasted and spray painted black

i wanted to polish it to, it was lookin real nice

are you just using mothers or buffing wheels and compounds?

Posted by: RUFIO

You would rather spend 4 hours sanding then get some stripper??

about 1 hour not the greatest firts time i dont even know if i did it right....how did i do??

Posted by: Bunkerking217

it took you 6 hrs to do that? you must have did it by hand bc it took me 5 min to do mine(i have a wire brush buffer) and it looked like that. if you use mothers it will look like dans.

and also, you must polish it everytime you get it wet unless your clear coat it bc it will rust!

really?.... i better send them to pappy pretty soon...
