Anyone been to Coal Creek Mining Facility, A.K.A. Windrock? just curious because we are going there during spring break, i was wondering what kind of riding it is, harsh, skilled, easy, hard, tame etc... any info would be appreciated.

Yup! Its a great place.There is anything you want there.From as fast as you can go to rock crawling.I will be at the spring ride there April 11-13.It will be my 2nd trip there.

A buddy and myself got our registration in the mail today. With 72,000 acres it should be awesome. I have heard alot about this place and were riding Fri, Sat and Sun April 11, 12 & 13.

Its in eastern Tenn.Just NW of Knoxville.There is alot of elevation changes.Plenty of Fast as you can go trails.Some tech. stuff,Hill climbs.Didnt see many jumps but i didnt see too much of the place.
wgbanks,where are yall staying?I think we will be at the comfort inn in Oliver springs.Not sure who all is going at this time.But it should be good.

We got lucky and got a room with 2 beds at the Super 8 in Oak Ridge. Thought we'd get as close as possible being our first time. We'll have to see about getting together while down there.

Ya know im not really sure where im staying.He may have said super 8 ill have to call him and see.Are you planning on entering the charity ride?Or just going out on you own?If you like hauling arse youll luv this place.

Were planning on trying to do all the events except the sled pull. My buddy and I are pretty hyped about the trip. Can't wait to ring out his Z and my EX. Maybe we could hookup and do some riding. Any others out there chime on in ...... the more the merrier.
