I need a better Subframe!!

alright well last weekend at crooms i bent my last 400ex OEM Subframe!!!

i was wondering what the strongest subframe i can buy is that will bolt up to a stock 400 frame..

At least insurance covers a broken bone!

burgards and lsr make nice ones...im not sure who else makes them tho

Pappy how do you like that airbox? I love mine but I did make a vented lid to go on it alao. Anyway I believe CFM makes a subframe that is very nice along with his airboxes.

the box is pretty cool....a lil hard to get everything where it needs to be inside but not too bad. this one has a lid with a rubber seal and seems to be good quality.

Yeah it was hard to put everything in and I did go ahead and switch to a foam filter. Mine came with that same lid and then I made another one with nine vents in it for just a little more air when it is not so dusty. You can kinda see it in this pic. I think latter when I do a rebuild I will add there subframe to finish it off.

I have a lsr. Wish I would have gotten the Burgard. 369$ buy it now on ebay.

i agree stock sub frames suck. but aftermarket costs and arm and a leg. I just rebuilt my bent stock one. Now its got a stright piece on the battery side and a 250r dg grab bar. and it uses a 250r style omf seat latch. And it cost me less then 20 bucks worth of steel. Try to make it yourself. I always try to do things myself first. and then if i can't i spend the money. Cause usualy the aftermarket one doesn't have everything i want

yes they are CFM performance..They are the best airboes i seen out in the ATV industry.

I am very pleased with my CFM subframe and airbox. Neal makes some of the nicest products I have seen, lpus his customer service is outstanding. You can see several photos on my website at www.socalquads.com click on the projects link and select project 7

TMM and CFM make one also. Laeger used to but I don't know if they do anymore...

TMM, aka Tom Miller Motorsports, I forget the website, are EXTREMELY over priced compared to the others....

I really like the Burgard. In fact, I have this new LSR, yz blue I would probably sell for 315$ shipped to your door. I want the Burgard. I paid 400$ to get this one to my door.

Burgard has a nickel plated one on ebay with a buy it now at
360$ I believe, a good deal I think.
