somebody made a post about polishing their head.Well mine is off right now due to a broken head bolt or two.and they wont be in till next Thur. It looks like it would be that hard to polish other than around the plug area. And your not gonna be able to see that spot anyway.Should i go take the time to polish it?Even though you wont be able to see much of it.I also thought about polishing up just the edge of the fins on the head and cylinder,But that may be really hard to just get the edge like that. What do yall think?Yes or No

hey, if you got the time, I say give it a shot!

I think it would look good if the fins were black with polished edges

Well Man, I was the one talking about it. The guy that wanted me to do it really wanted it done so I told him I would but I couldn't garuntee anything. I am sure it will turn out good but the casting is really messy and it gonna be tough...
I will let ya know how this one turns out....

I can't image how hard it would be to repolish each fin every time you wash it or get it dirty. One thing for sure, it would be a lot harder to polish a air cooled head over a liquid cooled head.
