ware you gonna get parts for that thing??
Posted by: DirtDiggler
You can get parts all over the place. Between what the dealers have, aftermarket companies and every thing that Cannondale has sitting around there are a lot of parts. Plus there is some kind of law that says parts must be produced for a minimum of 10 years but I don't know how it works. There are also a few companies bidding on the Cannondale motorsports division who plan to keep it going. Supposedly they will try to outsource some of the manufacturing to cut costs quite a bit. I don't think there will be any problem getting parts.
A lot of 02's don't have hydraulic clutches.

OO yea. I know the law. and yea the parts hould be availible for a little while. But if the company claims backruptcy they don't make the parts anymore. the only hope cannondale riders have is that someone buys them. and continues to build the same basic machines.
and those dealers you speak off. they can charge an arm and a leg for them parts
Posted by: DirtDiggler
If there is enough of them out there when all is said and done couldn't aftermarket companies buy the rights to the parts and sell them just to make $$ off the owners out there? Even if no one bought them out and they sold off all the quads that the dealers/manufacturer have laying around at a greatly reduced price that should put a fair amount of them out there. Again I'm not saying this like a have major clue or anything I'm just speculating.
