Hey guys I thought I would get this started. Marlin, Lenny, Dave, Rich, Adam. Let's get this figured out. Also anyone else interested we had a good time this past fall.

How about this weekend? I can and can't depending on the weather. When you guys ride at TC in the winter do you wear coveralls?
I didn't see Teen Idol, but I think Marlin and Steve Irwin the Crock Hunter look alot alike.

This weekend is no good for me guys . I'm either going snowboarding or ice climbing , not sure which one yet

Well Rich how ya doin??? I usually layer to keep warm the sexy spandex does it for the ladies long johns to look masculine and then riding pants. One other secret don't stop for long. The spandex usually makes me look thinner too.
Next weekend sounds promising.
I like the dirty dozen, can I be Jim Brown's character.

Note: I too am a member of Tower City... So anyone that needs a member to get in or has not been there before and wishes to join us for the "Exriders.com Tower City ride, part 2", please let me know.
The cost to become a member at Tower City is $200 if I remember right, and $30 for a day pass with a member.

I imagine there's about a foot of snow up there . Give or take a few inches . I was up 2 weeks ago and it wasn't bad at all . Most of the trails have been matted down pretty good so it makes for some interesting riding . Me and Adam were haulin arse down a trail going about 65 and had no problems . Well , other than the fact we had to stop and wait for the rest of the group You guys should see what the map on my GPS looks like from that day LoL We went to he!! and back and everywhere in between ! Did about 40 miles , not too shabby for a snow ride if ya ask me :blah
BTW The membership went up to $200 this year and day passes are $30 . If you come for the day and decide to join the $30 will be put towards your membership .

As for riding wear (clothing) for the cold weather, I use both thermal top and bottoms... I do not have the "sexy" tights like some do. I also wear a pair of special cold weather socks for snow skiing under my motorcycle socks... They happen to be very thin socks, but great for the cold weather. (Made by Columbia). I usually put a t-shirt on over the thermal, a sweatshirt, maybe two sweatshirts if really cold, riding jersey, then chest protector. (I get too hot if I wear a jacket too). I put riding pants over the thermals, and I wear a ski mask that goes over the neck, mouth, and nose... Works very well! I also use leather gloves mostly, or a pair of "Polar" gloves by Fox... They are a little on the thin side though, and not all that warm.
Good to hear from you Rich (NJ400ex)! I see you got your GPS mounted on your new handlebars... COOL! Glad to hear you been riding there... Wonder where Ron, Lenny, Mike, and myself were???
Anyway, I hope we can get a ride together, it has been since September since the first ride!!!

friday there was about 6 inches up there and it snowed another 3 inches or so. the trails actually rock right now because the snow fills in all the rocky gaps.
most of the trails have a grove you can ride in that keep you in the rut so you just rip and stay on track. we rode for about 4 hours i think, i will have to check the hour meter.
i cant wait till its 60 degrees and sunny. perfect riding weather.
was riding in third and fourth most of the day

On another note: March 2nd I would like to do Rausch, but I am not to sure about the dutchman though. I still have mud to wash off yet.
Marlin, Lenny and I were up there a month or so ago and it wasn't that bad except for the ice pond. That was still fun though. I even crashed there (what a surprise)
Maybe march 9th or march 16th ???? Unless Lenny and Marlin make me go to the dutchman on the 9th. I do have something to prove there.
Rich I would wear them for you whenever you want. I can even play petere pan in them too.

I agree definitely too cold for a camp out. Day ride sounds great. I will definitely be up for that. You can probably count Marlin in as I am his taxi and Lenny he is still trying to grow some so I am not sure about him.:blah

Did a little "snow" riding last night but the plows piled over 4ft of snow about 12ft into the road last night and looks like its gonna be a few days to get out again LOL
I figure PA should have a foot of more of the white stuff till friggin June :grr

Well, I am trying to think where we can ride. I know my 400 with XCT tires has a problem with 5 or more inches of snow. Tell me where there is going to be less than that any time soon. Anyone else have the same problem?
Rumor has it that warm weather may come as early as this weekend! Otherwise I will have Ron come over and shovel the 100 foot path to my garage!
Trust me, if there is going to be a ride/race... I will make every attempt to get ol' Ron a moving. (My atv's are ready to ride).
