I am running stock bore on my 400 and I usualy run like 87 octane when just riding, well would I benefit from running 92 octane when I race cause I run it really hard, would it help cool it some or what just thought i would ask!

Don't run that 87 $hit, In my manual it say's to run 93..makes it run alot better. & I think the higher the octane the cooler the moter will run...

yes thats true, the higher the octane the cooler the fuel will burn and cleaner. you gotta keep in mind that the fuel gets THINNER and therefore you will need to downsize your jet to a 148 or so.
