How do i change an axil carrier on my 400EX??

How do i get the axil nut and brake rotor off to get the carrier off?? any help would be great thanks

I cant get the axil nut to move....

All of these instructions are oriented standing at the rear of the quad.

Use a wrench to move the lock nut (left nut) to the left (towards the carrier, away from the wheel) by pushing down.

Then on the main nut, push it downward until you see a little clip that it acutally underneath it in a groove in the axle.

Remove that clip by moving it to the right and off of the axle and put it in a safe place. This obvioiusly requires the right hub to be removed.

Then you move the main nut to the right and remove it from the threaded collar that both nuts ride on. Also remove the collar when that is done.

Now remove the circlip that holds the brake caliper bracket on and pull the bracket off with the o-ring.

the rest should just fall out now with common sense.

I cant get the Main nut to budge at all....what should i do??

cant ge tthe main nut to budge..had the same probems...use a heat gun tp melt the locktite they use on that ***** and then use the biggest monkey wrench you can find

try and use a breaker bar for leverage, and soak it with WD-40
