i just changed my oil and oil filter in my 400ex and i went to change the sparkplug and couldn't get it out. The wrench i was tring to use would fit to the bottom of the spark pulg. Do i need to use wrench that came with the quad, if i dont need to use the wrench can you tell me how because i dont have the sparkplug wrench from honda. Thanks

Craftsman 18mm deep well 3/8 drive with the short extention works for me. The only trick is to put in the socket with your fingers, add the extention then the ratchet.

i got a 18mm deep socket and it dont fit...
anyway, i took a wrench thingy out of my dads chain-saw kit, cut the handle off, took a socket and jammed it into the wrench\socket thingy. i have the gas tank\heat shield off of it now, so it was quite easy to pull like that.
