HEY, i've busted apart a few carbs on other bikes, but never on a honda, let alone my 300ex.
ahight, i already have the bike apart, i ran my finger around the hole where the air boot goes, and it's dirty. finger was black.
then i took off the large bolt on the bottom, and there was this pink **** in there. kinda made me think that if i ground up my plastic into powder and got it wet. that this is what it would look like.
next i took off another part to the right of that large bolt. (three screws holding it on) inside was a spring, and a piece of rubber.
also there was the pink stuff again.
where should i go next.
please reply with any info...i wanna try and get this done by today...but i don't want to bust it all apart and have a mess on my hands.....
....
(..like the new smileys' ben...)

spray it all down really good with some aerosol carb-cleaner.

I soak mine in a little regular gas and then blast it with carb cleaner.
