Let me know what you think...I paid 14 bucks for them brand new. Fits perfectly using the same bolts that hold down the Renthals.

Posted by: y2k400ex

Posted by: killed300ex

how bright are they?
killed

Posted by: Rip_Tear

Cool, nice cheap mod! I'm going to get some neon lights to go under the quad... I like the light down there.

Posted by: blastersrule

what $14 where did you get those i broke my stock lights and need some of those minis i hit my porch

Posted by: cyba888

I got them in Taiwan...I think the box says 20watts but it looks just as bright as the stock ones. I got the clear ones, it also comes in blue, green and red. But the color ones shouldnt be as bright, just for looks I think becuase the color lenses on them were kinda of dark.

Posted by: cyba888

i more

Posted by: blastersrule

what you where in tiwan or something and got a good deal

Posted by: derekhonda

do you think that will cause problems for your battery or electical system?

Posted by: Sportrax10

They look awsome!

Posted by: cyba888

As far as im concerned they shouldnt cause any problems to the electrical system or battery. It turns on when I turn on the high beams only.

Posted by: y2k400ex

the stock 400 stator puts out 150 watts you NEED 50 watts reserved for the charging of the battery and ignition so you can safely run 100 watts of lights. I was told this by Ricky Stator

Whats the brand on them?

Heres some similar, theres a guy selling these on ebay for $45, But you can get then from JC Whitney for $14.99 and there 50watts each!

Posted by: cyba888

The new lights are 20W and I believe the stock ones are 35w? So in that case I have less than 100 watts so it should be ok.
The lights at JcWhitney are nice but it seems it is almost 4 inches in height. I like mine cause they are smaller and wont stick out above the handlebars. The lights I have are made in Taiwan.

they remind me of my trail tech kit or lazer stars lookin good man

Posted by: cyba888

2K2
How did you wire your lights, do you have another switch just for the trail tech lights?

If you were to fall and hit your chest on the bars you would probably end up hitting the lights first

Posted by: Live2Ride300

Those look really nice man, and a great price too. Do you have any pics of how you mounted them? Thanx, nice lights!

Posted by: blastersrule

where did you buy those a site? , i need some

Posted by: cyba888

I just took the two front handlebar bolts off and it fit perfectly. It comes with the mounting brackets you see in the picture. The holes on the bracket fit perfect with the stock bolts that hold the bar down.

i need to get 2 sets of those. one for my quad and another for my truck. can you get those off a website?

Posted by: JTRtrx250r

Cool, now you can look down a dark trail w/o having to be facing in that direction,I like the look of "fixed" lights but like the use of them on the bars, those look sweet

Posted by: Live2Ride300

Man, I really wanna get a pair of those now. So are they hard to wire up? What wattage should I get for my 300?

Thanx,
Chuck

Posted by: dirtriderex

Oh my god are those TIGHT! Do they make the stock lights less bright, and is it 20 watts per light or for the set? Come on tell us exactly where you purchased them!

Posted by: 02 Red Rider

Nice setup! I am interested about where specifically you bought them also.

Posted by: cyba888
