What is Molybdenum disulfide grease?? I am reading the manual here, and it says to apply it to the shocks bushings, bores and mounting bolts. I have the Lithium based grease for my a-arms, but I have no idea what this stuff is, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I've been checking into this myself....Molybdenum disulfide grease is used for extreme pressure areas...the lithium based stuff is for general greasing. I don't know what the difference is but Clymer reccomends it.

Molybdenum-sulfide, in pure form is a paste compound, normally most people just buy a #2 or #3 grease with 5% or 15% moly in it.mobile also sells the 140z. tube of its called like E or Ep grease. The #3 has 15% and the pure paste is called #110.Either way the grease works great and doesn't walk away on you, especially if your gonna use it at the a-arms and bushings.Excellent for repelling water and heat....

Thanks, that basicly cleared that up. Thanks! Now what is Name "Brand" that I should get? Thanks

The best stuff out there is pretty much listed as Industrial grade,or Commercial grade, you can get through McMaster Carr,or have a shop get for you.The grease I have and use is the "E"type from Mobile and works excellent.

I use the Honda brand, but only because I get it at work for free.
