300ex wont crank!

i have had gas in mine and it sat for about a year , did it damage anything what should i do?im havin trouble , i just got a battery for my 300ex after it sat for almost a year , i changed the oil and it wont crank , the battey is fine though , engine wont turn over , pleae help me with this problem

also drain the gas tank

Does the solenoid in the starter engauge? If not then your starter may be the problem.

starter is fine battery is fine , i found the problem , heh my dad bought some fresh gas and we put it in and it cranked on up after a couple hard tries , there wasnt much gas in the tank though
