My 400ex has an electrical problem?

My 400ex wont start. If i hit the E button it doesnt turn over, now i replaced the selinoid that wasnt the problem and i dont know if it is up were the E button clamps on. but if i hit the starter i can here a wirer frying out. I dont know what is wrong with it u guys have any suggestions?

Check the connectios on the battery, mine sounded liket that when my connection wasn't tight. Good luck.

alright thanks ill go try it becuase we have it down to 1 wire now.
