does anyone know if you can use the long pilot jets in the pe 24mm carb or do you have to use the short ones. Also any ideas of a starting point for jetting a '07 LC 90 with the PE 24. I'm around 500 feet, temps 40-50. Quad is stock.

Id start around 45/50 pilot. Ive seen two style pilot jets and one
of them was a short one. I would need to see a pic of it to be sure.

I use the long ones in all our PE Carbs.

The PE24 Carb uses the shorter pilot jet but I have seen the longer more popular pilot used as well.

Normally 42 would be the starting point, but with temps that cold Raven is correct with the 45-50 range
