I am currently installing a winch on my fathers 2004 ATP 500 H.O. This quad is similar to the sportsman but a little bit different.

We have everything installed except for the small red wire that goes from the in and out switch to one of the wires on the ignition. The kit does not specify which wire only that it needs to be a wire that is live when the ATV is in the on position and dead when the ATV is in the off position.

Has anyone done this and can tell me which wire specifically it is.
