Best carb for a stock 90

I have a '07 LC Drx 90 that I bought used. It came with a 28mm keihin pwk carb on it that has been very difficult to tune. I've been told the carb is too big for a stock 90 with no motor work or other mods. So my question is which is the best size carb for a stock 90?

go to the classifieds, I think there is a 24 on there for you, somebody might even trade you straight up for your 28. you are measuring the inside diam. of the bore correct???????
pwk = d slide
pe = round slide

I would like to stay with the Keihin PE series as I find them easier to make jetting changes to. Just looking for opinions to which is the better choice 21mm or 24mm. Thanks

On a bone stock 90 we run a 24 flatslide.

Keihin PE24 is a solid carb and easy to tune....
