Hey guys im building a bike for a friend and i just installed a cylinder works big bore 440 kit on his bike, a full yosi exhaust and hot cams. it has a stock carb also i was wondering where i should start with jets the bike was completly stock befor and i just need a starting spot.

my best guess is 172 mj 25-27 pj... needle ???

i would also suggest a better intake setup than the stock one .
it would help to if you can get him to spring for a 39fcr carb, porting is always good, but it sounds a little late for that.

depends on your altitude also.....but 172 or 170 sounds like a good start to me also.....pro design makes a good air intake mod or ESR makes a huge intake that goes well with the FCR39...if you can pick yourslef up a dynojet kit...saves a lot of hassle
