i would check out some of the rinccons running in the gncc stuff and see who is building them, i would say that for a mild port and polish a normal shop could do it but to really get something out of it find out some of the racing guys and send it to one of them. steve

I just ported my 400ex head and it was very easy. I have everything needed to do this also and have been building engines for 15 years. If you have a die grinder and do a little reading on porting, you could do it and save $$.
I agree with above. I think any machine shop around could do a very good job.
