I have a full FMF exhaust with the mega bomb header and my buddy has a slip on motoworks would we get more power from a commander made by our exhaust company or buying an adjustable one such as a PC 3?

The difference in them is there tuning and programming capabilities, PC 3 is 10% throttle position, PC 5% and a O2 sensor to boot (best product on the market IMO) . PC 5 you notice more throttle response primarily not power, like hp or tq. Others pipe companies offer have programmed in MAPs you access if your at elevations & outside the EFI range..... Good if all you plan on doing is just adding a pipe you save some $. .

Thats the best way I can explain unless someone knows better...
