i shimd it , it has spark , fuel and compression
tripl checked the timing chain
got any ideas

Im thinking it has to be your timing if shimmed properly. You did set the timing at TDC before tearing into it correct?

yep i sure did
i even put the old cams back in to see if there was somting else
and it ran fine so i have no clue what it could be

Ok, then if you put the old cams back in and it ran fine, then that means its not shimmed properly. Your not gonna use the stock spec. shim height with Hotcams.

I did re shim it., 280's on the ex and 260's on the In. I have a feeling it might be 180 degrees out.
Posted by: fordguy95
nope not 180 deg out

I'm not positive, but according to your sig. Its stage 2 cams???? I just took mine out and I had 300-305 on the ex. and 285 on the intake, but that was with stage one cams. Man, you got me stumped. Sure they are for a z400???

with the new , normally its old style intake and new style exhaust
when you put the new ones in did the cam lobes look to be in the same poshion after the install , at TDC ?
and you may all so have to degree the new cams ....yeah they are saposed to be set , but ya really dont know till you prove it
