hi did anyone make there stock exhuast a shorty on a 08 yfz450 or has any pictures to post of it and what did u jet it too. Also did it make u lose power or gain or what and how loud is it.

LOL.

i dont think anyone did. aftermarket pipes are way better, and shorty's look dumb.

if you want to, go ahead and cut it up. but the stocker has baffles, instead of a striahgt thru design with packing. if you cut it, some of the tubes wont line up, and you'll have scrap metal on your hands.

My 04 was a stock shorty until I could afford a new pipe - tons of low end but not so much up top....still a lot better than the stock, plugged up pipe!!

yah i got low end but not much top end and its louder too but it works though.

I made my CS a shorty......It is pretty loud, but it did make noticeable gains on the low end and I really cant feel any loss on the top end.
