i just got a uni filter and it sais to use uni filter cleaning crap but can i just use pro honda foaming filter stuf

should be able to use any kind of filter cleaner. I used to use K&N Recharger on my factory filter, it worked pretty good. I heard mineral spirits worked well also.

I got a UNI filter, and im sure that all kinds of filter oil will work. I ordered the UNI stuff anyway.

I've been using mineral spirits for three years. Works great, and it's pretty cheap. Get it at Sherwin Williams or Home Depot. Wash it out with the spirits twice, then finish with warm, soapy water. Let dry, put it in a big ziploc, add the oil, and mush it around, let dry, then install.

I also use mineral spirits then dry in front of a fan.
