I was wondering if anybody had any info on how their hybrid kicker extensions work? Specifically how they function - is something welded to the shaft or is a complete new piece custom machined?

Pics would be great too.

mine is a piece that fits tightly on kicker shaft, then the yz kicker goes on the end of extension. It uses a longer bolt to hold in the kicker also. Its almost a press fit to the new kicker(yz250) and is pretty hard to get on and slide off the motor kicker shaft. Both can be called a "sorta" press fit.

I used two knuckles.
machine off the swivel boss and welded in a piece of chromoly tubing.

maybe try the tecate boss, extended to length with tubing as shown, with the swivel boss and lever from a kfx kickstart kit. might look factory?
