will a 07 yfz450 head bolt on to any yzf450???

also can a yz450 stator side cover bolt onto a yfz???

yep any head will go on any year yzf, as long as its 450 and not 426 or 400.

im not sure on the sidecovers

can't remember for sure or not but i think the yz stator cover doesn't have the area for the starter gear...?

im thinking about putting a yz450 engine in my yfz frame something diff..and i dont want my ported head to go to waste the rest of my motor is trashed!!

i know the yz doesnt have the starter gear thats why i want one!
im gonna order a yz gasket to see if it will work..

i've been thinkin about gettin a yz engine to go in my yfz too! convert to kickstart is basically half the price of a complete engine? seems like the wisest route to me..

you need new motor mounts, and to offset the sprockets as well. im doing the opposite with mine. im putting a yfz450 motor into my yzf426 hybrid frame

well i know the front mounts, and i imagine the uppers on the yfz frame since the motor sits differently.

look on yfzcentral there is a guy who has 3 of the conversions he can help you.

his name is yfz guru or something like that. white flat track yfz with a green frame
