My tie rod is bent and i bought a 400 tie rod. if i have 400 a arms and shocks is that what i should have bought or should i have gotten a 300ex tie rod?

Ya, that is correct you would need 400ex tie rods. If the old one wasnt bent in a "U" you probly could have straightened it out. I did that with one of my old tie rods. or you could straighten outand cut some S.S. tubbing to slide over them and weld the tubbing to the tie rods about 1/2' away from the threds. Like a sleave.
