My buddy has an 08 pretty much brand new, got into a car accident and it flew out of the bed and broke the swinger in 2 so im looking for a used one.

just wondering if oem swingers for a yfz are the same I see some on ebay listed as 04-05.

No. The 04/05's are different then the 06-09's.
