i have an 08 z400 and i noticed the header is rusting an i want to know wat to use to prevent it thnx

The only real way to prevent this would be to have it ceramic coated. Assuming it's a stock header by looking at your signature IMO would not be worth the investment.

all the stock ones rust... i would invest in a full exhaust its well worth the money w the gains you will recieve.

Take some steel wool to it. It should clean up good.

Steel wool, or a steel brush to get the rust off then paint it with some hi-temp paint.
