My son bent this brand new rim at the Yadkinville GNCC race. Hit something while swinging the back end out and it put him over the handle bars. I was amazed the stock axle did NOT get bent!!
I haven't tried bending one back that was this bad. Any secrets out there?

i have a dead blow hammer that i use and have beat back way worst than that but only to get by until i can get a new rim.I suggest buying a set of beadlocks or at the least a set of rolled edge

Todd those wheels are not going to be reliable , that is to thin for rigorous racing conditions , it will continue to bend. As others said invest in a quality rolled edge racing wheels and you will be much happier.

Thanks Marc.......... I started looking for beadlocks but haven't found much of anything. Whats' your opinion on the beadlocks versus the Pro wheels I got from you before for the DRR? They were a nice rolled edge.

I think the pro wheels are the best you can get for the money, the beadlocks are nice but pricey , and not necessary for your purpose.
