HELP!chain tightening

I have an 06 predator tld noticed my chain was loose and fallowed the manuals instructions, like i always do to tightten it. The chain wouldnt tighten far enough so i assumed it had streched it is 2 yrs old. I ordered a new one from primary drive the exact same size! and the chain still wont tighten. I have no clue what would cause this need help.!!!!

They probably just gave you one link or two longer than you need. Just remove a link at a time and check it then install it with the adjustment towards the front.
