my grandfater has an 03 sportsman 500 ho he has had no problems what so ever with it but everyonce and a while while riding it will randomly stall and have no batery power like if it had no batery so he told me that he shakes or moves the wires and it will connect and be fine?
all id like to know is if there is anyone else who has had the same problem and how they fixed it

There is a black sealed pouch just forward of the battery and starter solenoid. Cut it open .It contains a 20A circuit breaker that is prone to failure due to moisture and corrosion. It will produce this same random power/no power concern. Good luck. Chad.
