My throttle is very tight. I have checked for binding. Checked the carb. Cleaned the carb. Oiled the cable. The cable if fine off the bike NO DRAG. Is it possible it has drag in the lining when its installed? I have no more thoughts.

Do I need a new cable maybe?

I'd double check everything. Still using a thumb throttle?

Check that you have not cinched it down too tight, or the cable is pinched under the gas tank.

If it comes down to it, I have a stock cable you can have....I use a twist now...
