SOMEONE SAID THAT U CAN CUT THE GREEN WIRE COMING OUT OF THE CDI AND IT WILL LET THE QUAD REV UNLIMITED. DOES ANYONE KNOW IF THIS IS TRUE ?

Not shure what color wire but i think this only aply on the pre 04 models,i know there is a tread about this in this section,search older posts.

yes its true.....Its the green wire on the back side of the cdi it self....Not the wires going into it.

sand45 is this true even for the 07 viper 50's????????
We race drr's but I bought this little thing for a buddy's daughter and it is a slug right now. I didn't look close but does that green wire just go to ground????

The green wire just dose a loop on the back of the cdi..... Im not sure if it will work on the four stokes....but it dose on the 2 strokes.

yeah okay, thats basically like the jumper clip on the drr's. I am going to cut and put bullet connector on it so if they want to regulate it again it will be easy. I just didn't want to cut it and start hearing a recording saying "you have 9 seconds to detonation!!!!! )

neither one of my 06 e-tons have that wire both both have dials on them and you can adjust the limter with the dial.

Some people just buy the kasea cdi.....They say the have no rev limit on them!

I dont know this for a fact...but i heard a few people doing it.

this 07 has the green wire so we are going to cut it and see if it throws the little girl off on the ground

, JUST KIDDING.
I will of course test it first with my knees over the tiny handlebars that say 75# max weight

thanks les and etondaddy, but like I said before I bought it to resell to a buddy for his daughter which is 4 to 5, we already have 2 full blown drr race quads, I dont need another project

this is an 07 viper50 jr, i paid 300 for it what should I be able to get for it???
bike has 7 yard rides on it from a little girl, looks like brand new, runs great, still got the plastic over the vin tag
