i dont think its 3rd gear, i hered it on the last lap on a moto and it made it all the way to the finish but even when its in nutral and idling you can here it clanking..... befor i take it apart i just wanted to here what youguys think...

Its 3rd gear.....I know a kid that ran his LTR for 2 races like that. It would knock in neutral too......

i was actually just talking with a guy who has a few ltr's and he said lossing #rd gear is a problem with those bikes. he said it can be corrected by replacing the stock 3rd gear with a stronger aftermarket gear. hope this helps.

also, you might want to check your crank bolt is tight. you will here some banging and clanking in the motor at idle and at speeds if the bolt came loss.

yea, i knew that it was gonna break eventually i just thought it would pop out of gear or stop going in or something, it still rides decent i finished a moto with it..... shes being torn down now and im gonna send it to atp for gears...
