Well, I just bought an 06 z400 a few days ago, Ive only got to use it for about an hour now.. Yesturday i was going through a little mud puddle fast, and splashed my whole bike, and it ran for about 2 more minutes, then it bogged out and wouldnt go again..
There is no fire. I checked my plug in my friends bike and the plug was fine, but my bike has no fire. What could have gone wrong? And what should I check?

do u have any spark? did the battery get wet and die? need more details

There is no spark. Battery is fine. We think its the coil.

Update: We bought a new plug and coil for it, and it still wont go, there were a few broken wires on the bike so we fixed them, and still cant get it to go. When we took the plug out there was barely any gas on it, so now were thinking gas might not be getting to it.. This really sucks because i sunk all my money into buying the bike and registering/insuring it, and now I cant use it..
Any suggestiong ??

Check your CDI, They have a tendancy to just quit, i went through 2 this year so far, and 1 on another. it just died. exchange it with you friends and see what happens.
