After much debate.... I'm keepin the Outlaw. That said I have the opportunity to swap shocks from my friends 500 outlaw for no cost( He's sellin). Does anybody know if the fox shocks perform better than the Ryde FX ??? If not are they(fox)- cheaper to have revalved ???

I have always heard that the FOX shocks are better than Ryde FX. I believe that the rears on the 500s had reservoirs which is an improvement over Ryde FX as well.

I actually have a pair of the stock fox shocks on the front of mine right now. I did notice an improvement (not huge) and my plan is to find a set of rears to match and have them revalved and resprung.

In my opinion the Fox shocks are better and can be made even better with a revalve and respring

I had Ryde FX front and rear, I recently put Fox Podium X's in place of them (front and rear) and it made a big difference. I now need to have them revalved and resprung.
