Xtreme 70 needs more power

Hello There,

My son has a Typhoon 70 that he races harescrambles with. It seems like we need some more power. We have put on a UNI filter with outerwear and the TBparts.com performace cam. The stock carb is jetted up too. We also have the aftermarket CDI box on it too.

We have to stay at the same displacement to run the 70cc class. Will a different carb or piston help much?

getting the head ported would be youre best bet.

The local shop that I do business with is very good at all the 450 port work so do you think the same porting principles apply?

All of the aftermarket exhaust systems don't seem any different than stock is that basically true?

Is there anything to gain by switching to a different carb?

Where can I buy a carb like that with the jets?

Nobody is saying anything about a pipe for it so is the stocker flow good enough for that displacement.
