alright guys i just bought a 250r rolling chassis for 350 bucks and i have a 01 yz426 at my house.. i wanted to put the motor and stuff from the bike into the R frame.... is this hard to do... does it clear the frame rails, i plan on using the air box and everything from the bike... i did a search and people just say to buy an aftermarket frame... i have access to a welded and was wondering if it was an ok conversion

My hybrid is a stock 250r frame with the yz426f motor. It clears the frame rails and everything. I actually have my motor out right now but i will post some pics to show you how my frame is welded for the 426 motor.

oh very nice... was it hard to do... my yz already has the oil resivor block off on it.. so i dont have to worry about that.. i figured other than that pretty simple put the swingarm bolt through... lower the front of the motor enough to clear the rails... and make mounts for the front of the motor... and maybe one across the top
