Got it all ready to start kicked it over a few times ...the kick starter would slip and then the next thing i know i had no kick stater ..no ratchet affect it would just pull down.
Im really pissed ...
...What the hell !!!! What dose it sound like to you guys ...anyone else had this happen to them???

The teeth on the kicker probably aren't engaging. Shouldn't be having this issue but it is an easy fix. Pull the right side outer case off and take a pic of it and I'll let u know what's going on with it.

ok found the problem......3 teeth gone from the small gear on the back side of the clutch basket!!
orderd a new one from piter pro....

That's on the new motor? No way should that be damaged. I'd like to know what happened to make it do that. Also, good luck getting your part in a timely manner from Pitster. Their shipping dept. sucks.

I think this motor was messed up before i got it! It was a new motor
It poped the first time i tried to kick stated the dang thing..... I just dont understand....!!!

Got my part today.....its going back together today.... ill try it out again as soon as i get my special clutch tool ...
