Ok on previous 300ex I have move the rear master to inside of the frame to get it away from the exhaust a bit and it wasnt quite what I would like to do this time. I have seen in pic people using what looks like a 400 or 450 rear master cylinder. Is all I would have to do is put it on and bleed brakes? anyone have pics and info on their rear brake master cylinder setups?

anyone?

I have had my EX since 99 and have never had any problems with the pipe and rear master. What kind of pipe are you running?

well it was stock when I got it and the reservoir has already warped and now that the fmf megamax is on there the heat is worse I would think so I am going to relocate it for good precautionary measure

At first I thought you were talking about the master cylinder not the reservoir. Ya I had problems with mine as soon as I put the pipe on. I have a supertrap header and exhaust. The reservoir didn't fit any more. so now it is inside the frame not bolted to any thing. I think I am going to use a 400ex reservoir, they'er smaller.

so I can just undo the hose clamp and switch the resivoirs out? No big deal? Im guessing brake bleeding would need to take place.
