2001 Yamaha Badger 80 Slow Starts

Hello Everyone, we have a 2001 yamaha badger 80 that is a pain to start. Is this a carb thing? It turns and turns just takes forever to finally kick, once it does there is no issue - can then sit for several hours and start right back up. Thanks for any thoughts.
